The Shoestring Budget is a miscellaneous item for the Soldier. They are a pair of team-colored shoeboxes fashioned into a pair of robot shoes.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.

Notes
- This item cannot be worn with the Gunboats or Mantreads, as they occupy the same equip region.
Trivia
- The name is a reference to low budget independent horror films.
- The Rocket jumping logo on the boxes are a parody of Template:W Template:W shoes logo.
- The boxes list the shoes as size 11 Rocket Air Gunboats.
